That poor woman! Those have got to be excruciating. Had chemical burns on my hand one time, and thought it was the worst thing in the world but it was nothing compaired to that.

Yeah that's pretty nasty, but my question is, why did this person wait over 2 weeks before getting medical care?? That's crazy

When I had my burn I waited over a week before I went. I just thought it was some kind of rash that would go away with some benedryl. Finally one day I was at work and accidentally got back into the chemical again and it set my hand on fire. I went to the dr as soon as I got off work and I took the chemical with me so they'd know what it was.

If my feet are oozing pus and splitting open, I'm quite positive I'd go to the dr before 18 days had passed. Sepsis can be a nasty thing.
She obviously knew something was wrong, as she was documenting it and complaining about it daily.

I dont see how she stood it. When I got mine, which was no where near as bad as hers I felt like my hand was going to fall off or something. Its a horrible pain.
